Dr. Chi Zhihe joins the group as a postdoctoral researcher

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Chi Zhihe, who joined the group as a postdoctoral researcher in September 2026. Zhihe brings a strong background in chemistry and materials science.
Zhihe earned a PhD in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, and trained under Professors Xiaogang Liu and Zhen Li. Zhihe’s doctoral research focused on polymer-based room-temperature phosphorescent materials, spanning molecular design, materials fabrication and the regulation of luminescent properties.
In the group, Zhihe plans to combine this chemical and materials expertise with AI to study structure–property relationships and guide materials design, with an initial focus on organic luminescent and functional materials.
